Niall McNamee is a dynamic singer-songwriter and actor, known for captivating, timeless songwriting and charismatic live performances.
Describing himself as “a romantic football fan who writes songs”, Niall moved to London at 17, working on building sites while doing acting auditions and playing gigs in Irish pubs to pay the rent. His irrepressible personality, songwriting ability and live shows quickly built him a devoted following, alongside a growing acting career that has taken him from the West End, where he played Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, to film and television.
His screen credits include appearing opposite Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan in The Foreigner, taking the lead in the award-winning feature film Love Without Walls — for which he also wrote the original soundtrack — and more recently appearing in Channel 5’s The Hardacres. In 2025 he played Irish World Cup goalkeeper Alan Kelly in Saipan, starring Steve Coogan and Éanna Hardwicke, and has also appeared on stage in Mick Flannery’s The House Must Win.
Music remains at the heart of everything Niall does. Following sold-out shows around the UK and Ireland, he released his debut album Glass & Mirrors in 2025, reaching the Top 40. His songs have attracted more than 300,000 streams, while his live career has seen him support artists including Mick Flannery, Louis Dunford, Melissa Etheridge, Declan O’Rourke, David Keenan, Junior Brother, The Dubliners and The Wolfe Tones, as well as performing at the Isle of Wight Festival and Cambridge Folk Festival.
In November and December 2026, Niall returns to the road with his band for his Limited Edition Tour, a run of intimate shows across the UK and Ireland. The tour will see him performing songs from Glass & Mirrors alongside new material destined for his second album, due in 2027.
